Bourne & Hollingsworth London Buildings UK

Travel Places: A visit to picture perfect Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings

This post will be more pictures than words, but you’ll soon see why. Bourne & Hollingsworth has been on my wishlist of places to visit in London for ages. I’ve screengrabbed their Instagram account too many times to count. So when a special guest (Jana H’s mother, Lounette) was here from South Africa it was the perfect time to go.

I had no idea that you’ll be able to find a place that has a beautiful farmhouse feel in the middle of London. For any South Africans reading this, it’s the closest thing I’ve come to Babylonstoren (without the actual farm element and sorry, no donkey feeding).

Unfortunately, I did not notice that they only serve brunch on weekends, so I can’t give an opinion on the meals, but what we had was delicious. Their coffee is perfectly smooth, banana bread mouth-water and the cauliflower salad that Jana had taken our breaths away. That was enough for us to know we’ll be going back soon to try more!

Where is Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings?

42 Northampton Rd, Clerkenwell, London EC1R 0HU and take a look here before you go to see menu serving times.

The venue has two very specials rooms that can be booked for private functions, and the B&H Kitchen was our favourite.

It’s as lovely in person as it is in the pictures. Go early to get the chance to wander around and take all the photos you like.
