A few years ago we travelled to Hong Kong as part of a holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia.
We spent four nights in Hong Kong which isn’t nearly enough time to explore this (sensory overload) city.
Finding a hotel was overwhelming enough. If you are heading that way and need a comfortable hotel I can really recommend Butterfly on Victoria Boutique Hotel in the exciting shopping area, Causeway Bay. The rooms are small but that is very normal for Hong Kong, and unless you are willing to pay top dollar for a 5-star hotel you’ll need to make peace with a small room. It was very clean and modern with the crazy views and the friendliest staff!
Make sure to take the taxi boat when you visit the city to experience the amazing skyline from both sides and visit the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
Don’t forget to look up, often! The height of the buildings is just mesmerising.
